Dewey Drop-In presents Storytelling Evenings
Storytelling connects us as individuals. Being able to tell our stories and listen to the
stories of others helps us make meaning out of our experiences and defines who we understand ourselves to be. Storytelling events will be facilitated by Sheffield resident, Chris Kelly. After all storytellers have finished sharing, there will be a group discussion exploring themes, similarities, and contrasts noticed within the stories as a whole. From this activity, Dewey Hall hopes to strengthen ties and to encourage a sense of connection and belonging within our region.
The Dewey Drop-In (DDI) Wednesday night series includes:
First Wednesdays: Game Nights Bring a game or join a game!
Second Wednesdays: Jazz Jams w/ bandleader Luke Franco (participants and audience welcome)
Third Wednesdays: Storytelling Evenings, Story listen and share. Hosted by Chris Kelly
Fourth Wednesdays: Talent Share, Showcase your skills! Hosted by Michael Siktberg
