Bio

Dewey Hall staff member Clara Stickney worked on flower farms and for organic gardening companies on the Maine coast for a decade. She moved to the Berkshires in 2021 where she found work designing and spinning winterberry wreaths and tending perennials at Windy Hill Farm. A lover of wearable flowers, Clara developed her own techniques to make sturdy flower crowns 100% biodegradable. She offers flower workshops and parties as well as limited biodegradable crowns and wreaths for special events. Clara is a full time musician and music teacher and holds a master's degree in occupational therapy.

ASL interpretation services are available for the workshops if requested prior to September 1st by emailing deweyhalloffice@gmail.com. This service will be offered subject to interpreter availability.

The Dewey Hall Dahlia Festival is sponsored by Webster Landscape Inc, One Mercantile/Sett, Windy Hill Farm, Clark, Green, and Bek, Campo de Fiori, John Field Tree Service, Ward’s Nursery, Acrisure, Race Mountain Tree Services, Inc., and Berkshire Mountain Distillery

NOTE: All proceeds support the operation and preservation of the nonprofit Dewey Memorial Hall, an historic community and arts center in Sheffield since 1887.
